Reiki and Reiji-ho
Reiji-ho is yet another of the techniques used in the practice of Reiki healing. There are several different aspects or parts to Reiji-ho and understanding each part enables you to utilize this knowledge in conjunction with your existing Reiki healing methods. In fact, Reiji-ho is probably the most important technique to incorporate into to your Reiki practice.
Most practitioners consider Reiji-ho as a type of ceremony that can be used for Reiki practice. Reiji-ho simply means, indication, or guidance of the spirit. It is known to awaken different levels of consciousness in people during the healing process, such as the intuitive ability to find blocked energies. It also enables a practitioner to find things such as imbalances in someone who needs healing.
Should you wish to include Reiji-ho as part of the Reiki practice it is necessary to adopt the correct posture, by sitting or standing upright, making sure to center yourself so that your spine is aligned from your head and all the way down. You can then begin to focus on the ‘seika tanden’. This is an area between your pubic bone and navel and is sometimes referred to as the lowest chakra, and is the easiest chakra in which to find any blocked energies.
As you continue to focus on this area, begin to pace your breath. This enables you to relax and allows Reiji-ho to guide you to the source of any blocked energies. When you feel that you have discovered each of the different energy spots, you can begin to use the process of Reiki to unblock them.
Before beginning the Reiki process of healing, you can perform a ‘gassho’, or a phrase which will help consciousness and awareness of your healing. This will also help in releasing the tensions and stresses that may be blocking part of your energies. From here, you will be able to unblock the energies that are being blocked.
This is point where you progress from Reiji-ho to your own Reiki healing procedures.
During the process of Reiki, you can also use the Reiji-ho concept or 'guidance of the spirit' in order to find the energies. Reiki can then be used to release the blocked energies and replace them with a flow of universal energies.
There are times when Reiji-ho communication does not happen automatically. For some, it takes a lot of practice in order to trigger this type of guidance by meditation.
Reiji-ho may occur at different times for different people depending on their level of conscious awareness.
Reiji-ho is a the guidance method that can be used in the Reiki technique to locate any blocked spots prior to healing. Once you have located these spots you are able to heal them more easily and cause universal energies to replace negative ones. This guidance method will eventually help in one’s own healing.
